In the summer of 2006, Denbigh's high school youth group joined up with the Orphan Helpers organization as they ministered to children ranging from six months to 18 in orphanages and detention centers in Honduras. This was a great opportunity where they shared the gospel, shared their faith in God, and spent time loving those who had no love. Many had their lives changed drastically .
In the summer of 2007, the youth group traveled to South Florida where they spent time with one of our Missionary Families, the Jacobsens, who minister to the Haitian community. They ran a Vacation Bible School for the Jacobsens church. They averaged about 40 young people ranging from three to 21 years old. They also went out and did several home repair jobs for members of the Jacobsens church. It was a great time and they saw eleven people accept Christ.
